Online poker room Poker.com has launched daily satellite tournaments for seats
in the 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event, with entry fee starting from
just $1. In addition to seats in the main event, winners will receive $12,500
package of travel and spending money and poker merchandise from Poker.com .
The 2006 WSOP main event will take place in Las Vegas this July. The expected
total prize pool stands on a record breaking sum: over 56 million dollar with
first place prize of $10 million.
