Roulette is a game of chance – it?s all about picking that wining
number – but there are ways to play it safe and minimize the risks by
covering up to 50% of the table is a single bet.
The Roulette wheel consists of 36 numbers plus zero in European roulette, and
a zero and double-zero in American roulette. You can place a bet on a single
number, or cover 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, and up to 18 different numbers in one spin
of the wheel.
These are the possible bets you can place on a Roulette table, starting with
a straight up 35:1 bet on a single number, and up to safe 1:1 bets on 18 numbers.
Straight Up (1 Number)
You place your bet on any single number on the table, including zero (0) or
double-zero (00) (if exists).
Pays 35:1.
Split Bet (2 numbers)
You place your bet on two numbers printed on the table, which share a common
dividing line. The bet is physically placed on that dividing line. For example,
you can place a split bet on 2 and 5, or 4 and 5.
Pays 17:1.
Street Bet (3 numbers)
You place your bet on three consecutive numbers. The bet is physically placed
on the outer left boundary line of the table, next to the corresponding row
of three numbers. For example, you can bet on 16, 17 and 18 by placing your
chips on the border of the row. I some casino the bet is placed on the right
border.
Pays 11:1.
Corner Bet (4 numbers)
You place your bet on 4 numbers intersecting. The bet is placed on the cross
where the four numbers intersect. For example 7, 8, 10 and 11.
Pays 8:1.
Five Bet (5 numbers)
This bet covers the following numbers: 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. The chips are placed
on the outer left boundary line of the Roulette table, between 00 and 3. In
some casinoos the bet is placed on the right boundary, between 0 and 1.
Pays 6:1.
Line Bet (6 numbers)
You place your bet on six consecutive numbers, aligned in two rows. The bet
is placed on the outer left (in some casinos right) boundary line of the Roulette
table, where the two rows meet. For example, you can bet on 4,5,6 plus 7,8,9.
Pays 5:1.

Bets covering 12 numbers:
Column Bet
You place a bet on an entire column. This bet is placed on one of three printed
boxes marked "2 to 1" located in the bottom of the table. Placing
your bet in one of these boxes, marks all twelve numbers above it (not including
0 or 00). For example, the middle box will cover the numbers 2, 5, 8, 11, 14,
17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32 and 35.
Pays 2:1.
Dozen Bet
The 36 numbers of the wheel can be divided to three dozens, 1-12, 13-24, and
25-36. This bet is placed on one of three printed boxes marked "1st 12,"
"2nd 12," or "3rd 12" located in the left side of the table.
Placing a bet in one of these boxes, covers all twelve numbers included in this
bunch.
Pays 2:1.
Bets covering 18 numbers:
Red or Black
This bet covers half the table, all the red numbers, or all the black as you
choose. This bet is placed either on the red diamond or the black diamond printed
on the table.
Pays 1:1.
Even or Odd
Covering half the table, wither the odd or even numbers. Placed in one of the
two boxes located in the left, the even box is above the red diamond and the
odd box is below the black diamond.
Pays 1:1.
Low or High
Low bet covers 1-18, High bet covers 19-36. This bet is placed in one of the
two boxes located on the left side of the table, the low box is above the even
box and the high box is below the odd box.
Pays 1:1.
