Poker pro Phil Hellmuth has won his 11th WSOP bracelet on Monday June 11, and set a new record by being the first poker player to have won 11 gold bracelets. The bracelet was awarded to Hellmuth by two of his old-time table rivals Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson. In addition to this prestigious achieving, Hellmuth also raked $637,254 in earnings during this event - a $1,500 no-limit Hold’em tournament.
Hellmuth won over Andy Philacheck, who took $394,594, Rick Fuller that finished with $247,518, and Morgan Machina, Scott Clements, David Simon, Fabrice Soulier, Ut Nguyen, and Taylor Douglas.
