Party Poker
has announced an agreement with Texas Holdem poker software developer Poker Academy,
to help train poker players. As part of the collaboration, Party Poker now offers
a free new training tool called the Poker Trainer, which allow players to hone
their Texas Hold'em skills against computer opponents in real-time on a dedicated
play money trainer table.
The Poker Trainer software was based on work done by a team of researchers
at the University of Alberta. It includes the following features: three training
levels, hand evaluator, an advisor function, session stats, and more.
