American lance Armstrong has undoubtedly earned the title 'the great cyclist in
history' after winning his 7th consecutive Tour De France race. Armstrong won
his first yellow jersey on 3 July 1999 at the age of 27 after surviving testicular
cancer. Now, at the age of 33 Armstrong has announced his retirement from racing.
