Poker is running satellites for the 2007 Aussie Millions Poker Tournament
that will take place at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia between January
16 and 19. Kiwi Poker's super-satellite on December 23 will include 2,000 entrants
and will give up to 50 players a $12,000 package including seat and accommodation.
One package worth $12,000 is guaranteed with another one put up for grabs for
every additional 40 players in the super satellite.
Players can either buy a seat directly into the super satellite for $300 +
$20, or qualify in Sit 'n' Go tournaments or Multi Table Qualifiers that are
being run twice a day. Sub-satellites for this satellites are also available.
The No Limit Hold'em Aussie Millions is expected to generate a total prize pool
in excess of AUD$5,000,000.
Kiwi Poker is also running satellites for other prestigious events: Players
can qualify for the EPT's (European Poker Tour) 2007 Scandinavian Open in one
final super satellite at 15:30 EST on December 17, and win a $9000 package for
flights and accommodation. Players can also win a seat at the WPT (World Poker
Tour) event of their choice worth $12,000, in the next super satellite at 15:00
EST on December 3.
