England's Striker Michael Owen has announced that he is not injured and will play
at 2006 FIFA World Cup finals in Germany. Owen has broken a bone in his foot on
31 December and since then only played one game with his team Newcastle United.
Owen has declared himself to be in fit condition to play and reassured England's
fans about his capabilities. England's first Group B game will be stages on
10 June, against the Paraguayan team. In the meantime he will play in three
games: a B international game against Belarus on 25 May, and 2 England friendlies:
Hungary on 30 May and Jamaica on 3 June.
