CDM Sports, the fantasy sports games operator, has launched its fantasy baseball
game Diamond Challenge Fantasy Baseball for the 15th year. The Diamond Challenge
Fantasy Baseball game allows baseball fans from around the world to set up fantasy
teams and have them compete against other teams in a salary cap, rotisserie-style
scoring game. Each team owner picks a team of 28 starters using a $30 million
salary cap. At the end of the game, over $550,000 in cash prizes is awarded for
overall, division, league, field, and weekly competitions. Last year's winner
Larry Schechter of Rexford, NY, won a grand prize of $27,750. Entering deadline
is Sunday, April 2, 2006, at 6 PM Central Time.
CDM Fantasy Sports offers 8 full-season fantasy baseball games for all skill
levels and budgets, operating since 1992. Featured games include baseball, football,
basketball, hockey, golf and auto racing. Players can participate by phone,
mail, email, fax and the Internet.
