Online betting exchange and poker site BetFair
Poker will stage a $2 Million live poker tournament in Singapore. BetFair
and local operators Capital Events will host the event in November 2006, the first
of its kind to take place in Singapore, and it is supported by the Singapore Tourist
Board (STB).
The Betfair Asian Poker Tour will be open to all players local and non-locals,
and qualifiers will be held on Betfair Poker as well as in live events. The
Tour will be televised and distributed to international broadcasters and other
media.
