Bingo is a game of chance based on drawing numbers. 75-Ball Bingo is a bingo game
played with 75 numbers that can be called. The numbers 1 to 75 are divided to
five columns of 15 numbers, and each column belongs to one of the 5 letters assembling
the word B I N G O.
75-Ball Bingo Card
Before the game starts players purchase a card or several cards. A player's
bingo card is divided to 25 squares (5 rows and 5 columns). The middle square
remains empty while the other 24 contain 24 different numbers from 1 to 75.
Patterns
A pattern is set for the following game. It is a certain shape made of the little
squares in a player's bingo card. A pattern can be the form of a number or a
shape like heart or diamond.
In 75-Ball Bingo the patterns change from game to game, and there are countless
combinations.
Course of the Game and Winning
When the game begins the numbers are drawn and called. The players check their
cards for each number that was called, and if the number does appear in the
card the player marks it. This action is also called "to daub". Most
bingo sites offer "auto-daub" function that marks the ticket automatically.
The first player whose ticket is daubed according to the pattern that was set
for the current game is the winner.
