Bookmaker Pinnacle
Sports is the first to publish odds for this year's Golden Globe Awards in
seven major categories. According to Pinnacle Sports odds makers The Departed
is most likely to take Best Drama at 1/1, and director Martin Scorsese is a 5/9
favorite to win Best Director. Dreamgirls is 1/7 to win Best Comedy or Musical.
Sascha Baron Cohen (11/10) and Meryl Streep (4/7) are the favorites for Best Actor
and Actress in a Comedy or Musical, while Forest Whitaker at 5/7 and Helen Mirren
at 1/5 are favorites for the Best Actor/Actress in a Drama.
The 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be held on Monday, January 15, 2007.
Pinnacle Sports will be accepting wagers on up till a few hours before ceremony
starts.
